The Quetico Foundation continues to sponsor research and publications. In

conduct research in the Park on the effects of naturally occurring forest
fires (1997-8) and on the natural elements of the Park (The Forest
Inventory Project) (1999-2000). The Foundation has also sponsored archaeological
research in the Park and continues to fund
historical research leading to publications on the history of Quetico Park
and the region surrounding it.
If you are interested in performing research in Quetico Park at the
Undergraduate or Graduate level, please e-mail Dr. Roger Suffling, Associate Professor, School of Urban and Regional Planning, University of Waterloo, at rcsuffli@fes.uwaterloo.ca.
